Familiarizing yourself with this website will provide key facts and figures about Class III Obesity whilst also highlighting an awareness of risks and treatments associated (note we are not medical professionals).
There are two types of obesity and they are Android and Gynoid.
Android: is typically found within males, this is when the body takes the shape of an apple or circular object. It involves an excessive amount of body fat to be stored in the upper body. Also know as upper-body obesity.
Gynoid: this is more commonly found in females, and can be seen by the body taking a pear shape. this is the opposite to android and this is when a majority of the fat is stored in the lower body, this is why its know as lower-body obesity.
There are many ways of looking at obesity and measuring it but not all of these ways are considered as fair. One way which is floored is the measuring of BMI, although not always scientifically correct and can offer a way into which we can categorise people.
